I have always loved making up stories.
Creating worlds in my mind has kept me endlessly entertained through many workouts, lectures, meetings, and (gasp!) even a sermon or two.
I amused my friends with humorous tales during classes by passing them around while the teacher droned on and on. I never missed a chance to
drag those same friends into participating in a skit I wrote for an event.
While I initially dreamed them up for fun, I began to see that stories have other uses. They have staying power. A list of facts and
principles is quickly forgotten, but stories weave themselves into the memory and add impact.
Now, my goal is to encourage, enlighten, and entertain others through telling my own tales in books and to live audiences. I love creating worlds
others will want to linger in long after the end is told, and return to again and again.
I also enjoy reading books, doing creative projects, growing food in my vegetable garden, traveling near and far, taking nature hikes, and eating
chocolate. I am married to a man whose sense of humor matches mine. We have two grown sons, and a self-centered cat named Lola.
This is my world that I love lingering in, in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is enhanced by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who created the
beautiful world They gave us with Their words.
I have been inspired by Them to use words to tell stories, and it is my joy to share my world of words with you.
